## Committed to Growth: Investing in Us

**A New Look for a New Era**

At Monterey Financial Services, growth is more than just business— it’s a mindset. In 2024, we embarked on a transformation, one that is not just cosmetic, but reflects who we are and what we believe. With help from a talented team of designers, contractors, and carpenters, we carved out the new era of Monterey in our headquarters.

Inspired by the vibrant culture of San Diego, the place Monterey calls home, we wanted our space to echo the elements that make this city so inspiring: surf, sun, and an energetic lifestyle. The renovation went far beyond replacing old carpet or outdated paint colors; for us, it marked a deeper evolution. A symbol of how we’re constantly progressing, improving, and aligning our space with the values that drive us forward.

### A Focus on Wellness

One of the cornerstones of Monterey Financial is our commitment to health and well-being — not just financial health for our clients, but physical and mental wellness for our employees. As part of our renovation, we introduced a fully-equipped on-site gym, making fitness more accessible and integrated into the daily routine of our team members. From cardio machines to free weights, the gym was designed with everyone in mind, providing a space for employees to decompress, recharge, and feel their best.

### Building Connections Beyond the Desk

Aside from making our space look good, we wanted to make sure our workspace made employees *feel* good, too. Our team is connected and we wanted that to make sure the design fostered a stronger sense of community and collaboration for our team. The newly reimagined breakroom is now a multifunctional lounge area where coworkers can connect, unwind, and share a game outside of work tasks.

Whether it’s a quick match of shuffleboard, a little friendly competition on Xbox, or a quiet moment with a snack from our mini convenience stand, there’s something for everyone. Board and card games are also available, creating more opportunities for light-hearted interactions and bonding across teams. We believe these opportunities for bright moments at work help build a culture rooted in camaraderie and connection. Our primary goal within the redesign and in general is creating the kind of environment where people actually want to be.

### More Than a Building 

At the end of the day, our building is more than just a place where work gets done. It’s the home base for our team — the people who make Monterey Financial thrive. That’s why this renovation wasn’t just an investment in modernizing; it was an investment in our people. By creating a bright, modern workspace that echoes our community, we are able to showcase how much we value our employees, and want them to succeed not just professionally, but personally.

At the end of the day, this redesign harkens to the new era of Monterey: forward-thinking, people-first, and always evolving. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited for what’s ahead.

First off I have never had any issues with Monterey Financial Services. In my experiences interacting with an account representative has always been a pleasant experience I get the information or have my needs to tend to my account has been an experience of excellent quality customer service. And speaking on that I had pleasure of working with a Monterey Financial Services Account Representative Melanie.. She was very helpful and getting to the issues that I was having and walk me through pretty much and it was a seamless transition from having a problem to not having one she did an excellent job and performed in a very well organized and professional demeanor throughout our conversation. So with that being said my issue took less than 20 minutes at best to be resolved thank you Melanie all right truly appreciate your assistance and getting to the heart of the matter with my issue!

I recently took out a loan through \*\*\*\*\* for a purchase, my account was managed by Monterey Financial Services. This loan was interest free if I paid in full before 90 days, good deal! I also wanted this transaction on my credit report. I paid it off in 45 days then checked the Monterey web site to make sure everything was in order. It still showed a balance due so I called and spoke to Mandy. Mandy was great, she explained that my account was in the process of being closed, the web site would be updated and I DID NOT owe any more money! She was very helpful, professional and kind!
